`INTRODUCTION TO BEEKEEPING' (Practical) Course

SPRING AND SUMMER 2007

The course is aimed at prospective and novice beekeepers. It is intended primarily as a follow-up to the Theory course held during the winter.

DATES

Weather permitting, classes will be held on the Saturdays given below. Reserve dates in brackets, in case the first choice has to be postponed because of the weather.

VENUE

Association Apiary, St. John's Copse, St. John's Road, Oakley (maps here). Enter through wooden gate. Apiary is approx. 100 metres on the right. Please park in the road.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING

The Association will loan a combined jacket and veil. Please wear sturdy, preferably light coloured, trousers and bring Wellington boots and `Marigold' type gloves.

WEATHER
