[Basingstoke and District Beekeepers' Association]

The Basingstoke Beekeeper

The Newsletter of the Basingstoke and District Beekeepers' Association.

I'm now adding the newsletters from the new editor. As I'm still struggling to get everything done, I've given up my usual method of publishing to the Web and am now simply producing .pdf files from whatever I have or receive. I do have a slight problem with this with newsletters I receive that are in MS-Word format as I don't have word and the tool I'm using to convert to .pdf doesn't have the MS fonts, so tries it's best but struggles with the format. Hopefully I can fix that when my new server is sorted and I can reprocess with a newer word processor.
Sadly I have felt obliged to remove E-mail addresses from these documents to avoid the attentions of our spamming bretheren.

With the workload I'd been under after a redundancy, trying to scrape a living, find a new real job and/or start a business, this whole area fell by the wayside a few years back. I circulated only the printed copies.

Time to start putting that right. Please bear with me, it will take a little while longer as I have to covert them from LaTeX to xhtml.

I'm also restucturing this area more hierarchically, since there are now quite a few files in the directory. Please forgive broken links, I'll sort then as soon as I can.

Here you'll find links to on-line copies of the newsletter. They are produced slightly independently from the printed version so may not match perfectly. We normally publish at the beginning of March, June, September and December.

The Basingstoke Beekeeper is edited by Gordon Scott +44-1256-476547, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.

I try to check with the authors when I include stuff from the net, but it's difficult for a busy person and often 'only' a formality. Please forgive me if you appear 'in print' and didn't expect to. More to the point, if you appear here and don't want to, please tell me and I'll try to avoid making the mistake again.

Links to the newsletters. Note that these are about 45kb of text each and may also have pictures.

Note that the 1990..1994 files were collected retrospectively in early 1995 and are somewhat fragmented.

Diary of local events.
